Kochi, April 26

IDEA Cellular has launched M-Radio and the customers can choose from three stations that offer hundreds of songs. Currently, two channels are available. To tune-in, just dial 456097. Other stations will be added soon. This service will especially be a boon in towns, which currently do not have an FM radio station and this service will fill the gap for FM-quality music on the go, Mr Ramakrishna. B, Chief Operating Officer, Idea Cellular, Kerala Circle, said. Besides the regular channels, the station `My Album' is unique, where the listener can store their favourite songs and replay them as per their convenience. All calls to this number are charged at Rs 3 per minute. Customers want more out of their mobile phones and want it to double up as an entertainment and communication unit, he said. With this in mind, we introduce `Idea M Radio', which is FM-quality music available on the handsets, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, he added. This launch adds to the list of products from IDEA specially created for their Kerala consumers.
