Bangalore April 17 Tata Teleservices Ltd has announced a new roaming intensive tariff plan for customers who have very high usage of the service in Karnataka.

Called the Business Gold Plan, it consists of a package that could be subscribed to by both new and existing customers alike.

The plan, with a monthly rental of Rs 349, provides the subscriber with 500 monthly minutes of free incoming calls while roaming. Both the roaming outgoing charges and local charges are at 10 paise for Tata Indicom-to-Tata Indicom calls and 50 paise for other networks, said a company release.

The plan also offers SMS at a nominal rate of 5 paise for both local and national SMS. It includes value added services such as call wait and call forward free-of-cost.

Mr Manzoor Ameen, COO, Karnataka Circle, Tata Teleservices Ltd, said, "The new scheme has been customised to cater to the requirement of our subscribers who want to be in touch with their near and dear ones or with their businesses at extremely competitive rates while roaming."
