Karnataka Bank sets Rs 28,500-cr biz target

Mangalore April 3 Karnataka Bank Ltd, which achieved business turnover of over Rs 23,500 crore during 2006-07, is planning to reach a turnover of Rs 28,500 crore during 2007-08.

Mr Anantakrishna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Bank Ltd, said this while addressing the staff members at the bank's head office on Monday.

A bank release said here on Tuesday that Mr Anantakrishna unveiled the roadmap for the financial year 2007-08 with incremental business growth of Rs 5,000 crore to reach the business turnover to Rs 28,500 crore. This includes Rs 3,000 crore of deposits and Rs 2,000 crore of advances.
