Pipeline projects
The company has called for expression of interest for other pipeline projects. It is also awaiting clearances for similar pipeline corridors in the South, which includes Kakinada-Chennai link (it received Government clearance recently), Chennai-Mangalore, Chennai-Hassan and more. Gas evacuated from KG basin will be shifted to Bharuch and thereafter to GAIL and GSPL pipelines. The Managing Director of Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd, Mr R.K. Dhadda, said: "by the time RIL expands its capacity from 40 to 80 million standard cubic metres per day by 2009, it would account for about 42 per cent of the current estimate of domestic gas requirement. We expect to provide complete energy solution." Mr Dhadda was speaking at a meeting on natural gas opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, organised by the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.
