Ford India sells 42,000 cars in 2006

Ford India Ltd sold 42,060 cars in the calendar year 2006, compared with 22,526 units in 2005, says a press release from the company. In December 2006, the company sold 1,983 cars. Meanwhile, the company said it had raised prices of the Fiesta and Endeavour models by one per cent.
