New Products & Services States - Maharashtra Next Gen launches Yellow Pages in Mumbai Our Bureau
Mumbai , Nov. 27 Next Gen Publishing Ltd launched Forbes Yellow Pages (FYP) in Mumbai today. The Yellow Pages contain contact information of various companies and organisations. "It has been customised to serve the needs of the business community in Mumbai," said a company statement. The company was formed in 2005 by the Forbes group, which has a majority stake, and HDFC, holding around 17 per cent. FYP has already been launched in Delhi and Ahmedabad. The company plans to release yellow pages in two-three cities every year, said Mr Hoshang Billimoria, CEO, Next Gen Publishing. They are sold free with advertisements being the lone source of revenue for the company. Mr Deepak Parekh, Chairman, HDFC Ltd, said that the scope for yellow pages is enormous. In addition, the company has launched an SMS service, tele-information service and Web site search facility.
