Idea Cellular base crosses 15 lakh

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced it has crossed the 15 lakh mobile subscriber base in Andhra Pradesh, with a significant part of the growth coming during the current financial year. Idea plans to continue to upgrade and expand its existing network and is in the process of adding new cell sites and towns spanning the State. The Chief Operating Officer of Idea Cellular Ltd, Andhra Pradesh, Mr Subbaraman Iyer, in a statement said, "This is a significant milestone. Andhra Pradesh is the second largest mobile market in India and there is tremendous potential for growth."
