CDC Soft to increase R&D staff

CDC Software, the enterprise software unit of CDC Corporation, announced on Tuesday the expansion of its development and services centre in Bangalore, through its group subsidiary, Pivotal Bangalore Software Development Private Ltd. The company plans to increase its research and development and business staff by 100 per cent. CDC Software also is expanding its direct sales operations in the Bangalore facility, as well as examining software and services companies to acquire in India. As part of this expansion, Mr Nagaraja Prakasam has been named Managing Director of CDC Software Group's subsidiary in India.
