Software Torry Harris to form in-house cell for SOA Our Bureau
Bangalore , Nov. 9 US-based Torry Harris Business Solutions has announced the formation of an in-house cell for service-oriented architecture (SOA). The cell will be headquartered at the firm's Bangalore office and will cater to next generation SOA needs of global clients. "The Indian SOA market will mature in eight months' time and we will be ready with our offerings for clients here," said Mr Ashwin Krishna, Chief Operating Officer, Torry Harris Business Solutions India. Torry employs 950 people in India, of which 300 SOA specialists will do research on the latest trends in SOA and offer training to the rest of the employees. The company expects to add 400 more to the SOA cell next year. The company plans to use open source to make its SOA solutions more cost-effective. Other advantages of open source software are that licences can be eliminated and enhanced support can be offered, said Mr Krishna.
