SEBI slaps Rs 1-cr fine for IPO `fraud'

Mumbai , Oct. 11

The Securities and Exchange Board of India on Wednesday slapped a Rs 1-crore fine on Ms Varsha Trivedi as penalty for failure to furnish information of her trading in the scrip of Vision Organics Ltd (VOL).

According to the regulator, Ms Trivedi had a `considerable role' in the IPO fraud in VOL and which was investigated by SEBI.
