Tourism pact with SriLankan

The Kerala Government has entered into a partnership with the SriLankan Airlines to promote tourism in Kerala. The State Government signed a MOU with SriLankan, under which the Kerala Tourism has announced special bonanza for passengers flying on SriLankan to Kerala from October 2006 to March 2007. The MOU, which was signed at the just concluded Kerala Travel Mart, includes offers on fine dining, shopping and therapeutic packages across Kerala, a press release from SriLankan said. "Kerala is happy to tie up with SriLankan Airlines as we feel that this airline is an important player in the growth of tourism in the region," Mr B. Suman, Director of Kerala Tourism, said.
