FCE okays 10 pc dividend

Kochi, Sept. 25

The fifth annual general meeting of the First Commodities Exchange of India Ltd was held here on Saturday. A maiden dividend of 10 per cent was approved for the financial year 2005-06.

In the vacancy arising on the retirement of two directors, Mr K. V. Krishnakumar and Mr K. K. Nizam were elected to the board. Later during the board meeting that followed, it re-elected Mr P. V. Alexander as the chairman and Mr Prakash B. Rao as the vice chairman.
