Cranes Soft arm, SERC in pact

Cranes Software International Ltd has announced an alliance between its wholly-owned subsidiary Engineering Mechanics Research (India) Ltd (EMRC) and Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC), a national laboratory under Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to develop products.

The two partners will jointly develop a graphical pre-post processor for SERC's FINEART (FINite element Engineering analysis using Adaptive Refinement Techniques), a finite element code for linear static, dynamic and non-linear transient dynamicsIn addition to SERC-Chennai, the company will work with C-MMACS-Bangalore, RRL-Bhopal, RRL-Thiruvananthapuram and NML-Jamshedpur to develop various specialised modules of FINEART.
