MRF Q3 net drops to Rs 8.17 cr

MRF Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 8.17 crore on income from operations of Rs 1,128.81 crore for the third quarter ended June 30, 2006.

During the corresponding period in the previous year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 16.88 crore on an income of Rs 902.89 crore.

For the year ending September 30, 2006, the company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 3 (30 per cent) per share of Rs 10. During the nine months ended June 30, 2006, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 27.93 crore (Rs 28.96 crore) on an income of Rs 3,053.68 crore (Rs 2,539.72 crore).
