Jubilant net profit zooms

Jubilant Organosys has reported 116 per cent growth with a profit after tax of Rs 46.1 crore in the first quarter ended June 30 against Rs 21.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The company recorded net sales of Rs 412.4 crore, up 26.2 per cent, against Rs 326.7 crore in the first quarter of 2005-06, said a company release. The results are on consolidated basis and include the performance of Jubilant's subsidiaries as well.

According to Mr Shyam S. Bhartia, Chairman and Managing Director, Jubilant Organosys, "We offer products and services across the value chain. We have plans to further expand this business through our well-evaluated organic and inorganic growth strategy."
