Clarification

The editorial, `Fuelling a relationship' (Business Line, March 23), had said that the first consignment of 30 tonnes of nuclear fuel for Tarapur had arrived, coinciding with the Russian Prime Minister, Mr Mikhail Fradkov's visit last fortnight.

But a top Department of Atomic Energy source clarifies that the first consignment, of 15 tonnes and not 30 tonnes, "should land any time" this month. India would totally receive 50 tonnes of low-enriched uranium.
