Industry foundation award for Exim Bank chief

THE Foundation of Indian Industry and Economists has announced its awards for various segments at the International Business Summit on India, organised in the Capital.

The CMD of Export Import Bank of India, Mr T.C. Venkat Subramanian, has been awarded the best CMD-Financial Institutions honour; the CMD of Subros, Mr Ramesh Suri, has been given the best industrialist-Mid Size Corporate award; the CMD of Rolta India, Mr K.K. Singh has been named the best IT man of the year; the CEO of Liberty Shoes, Mr Adesh Gupta, has been awarded the best CEO in the footwear sector; the Chairman of ISRO, Dr G. Madhavan Nair, has been given the best R&D man award; and the Administrator of HUDA, Mr Anurag Agarwal, has been recognised as the best administrator. The summit was inaugurated by Mr Praful Patel, Union Minister for Civil Aviation. It highlighted aspects such as risk management, corporate governance, corporate strategies for enhancing shareholder value and networking and business security.
