Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Photon Energy Systems Ltd, the city-based solar energy products company, has announced the launch of Miracle brand solar geysers.

Addressing reporters here on Friday, Mr Sharad Saxena, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, said the products were designed after thorough research and development in association with its joint venture partner Haiyan Solarbridge of China.

The sophisticated glass tube collectors in the geyser tracked the sun throughout the day and intercept more than 93 per cent of incident solar radiation. It required much lesser space compared to conventional flat plate solar geysers.

The range started with a capacity of 100 litres per day (LPD) and multiples of 100s. The company also offered customised models for different needs.

The 100 LPD capacity system, ideal for houses, was priced at 15,000.

The company, which registered a turnover of Rs 18 crore, was targeting Rs 35 crore this fiscal.
