LIC Housing Fin hikes lending rate

Mumbai , Feb. 2

LIC Housing Finance has hiked its lending rate by 50 basis points. The minimum new lending rate will be 8.25 per cent.

Around 90 per cent of the company's portfolio is in the floating interest rate. In the calendar year of 2005, it raised the interest rate three times on existing portfolios.
