Jet Airways board meet on Jan 21

THE board of Jet Airways India Ltd will meet on January 21 to consider and take on record its financial results together with a limited review report for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005.

The board will also consider whether the company should make an equity and/or debt related offering.

When contacted, a company official refused to comment on the amount or the purpose of the proposed fund-raising effort.

In an announcement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company said funds could be raised by way of American Depository Receipts (ADRs), Global Depository Receipts (GDRs), Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) shares or any other securities in India and/or overseas.
