Naredco meet from Jan 20

THE National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) has announced that its 6th national convention, showcasing housing and commercial real-estate products and housing finance options offered by various banks, would be held in the Capital from January 20-22.

The Prime Minister, the Minister for Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation, and the Chief Ministers of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are expected to take part in the event, a Naredco release said here.

Other participants include real-estate firms, housing finance companies, banks, foreign investors, material manufacturers, architects and academicians, it added.

The event, running the theme `Housing for All', would debate such issues as National Housing and Habitat Policy, impact of reforms, foreign direct investment, trends in housing finance and real estate investment trusts. It would also focus on real-estate development in Delhi and the National Capital Region.
