Satyam in pact with Chinese co

SATYAM Computer Services Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with the Chinese insurance software solutions company, eBaoTech, and plans to jointly promote insurance package software solutions.

eBaoTech is an expert in developing insurance packages for life and non-life sector. Through this partnership, both companies will work together and offer Satyam's solutions and services to customers globally.

The Director of Satyam and Head, Insurance, Mr Ravi Bommakanti, in a statement today, said: "Satyam will tap Asia-Pacific and Europe to expand its business opportunities through the partnership and expects significant growth in this vertical. Satyam currently has the largest insurance customer engagement among all the Indian IT vendors."

Mr Allen Zhu of eBaoTech said, "we believe Satyam's global footprint and professional service capability will complement our deep domain knowledge."
