FML opens office in Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: Fleet Management Ltd, a Hong Kong-based company offering ship management services to ship owners, including provision of manpower, has opened its office here recently.

Captain Anshul Rajvanshi of FML, said the company employs over 5,000 seafarers, of whom 90 per cent hail from India.

He said local seafarers need not go to big cities such as Mumbai and Chennai to get aboard a merchant ship. They could approach the local office of the FML, he added. Mr K. V. S. Syam Sundar, the local manager, said the company is employing over 50 seafarers from Vizag.
