The Hindu Business Line : `Tata Indicom scheme a success'

MUMBAI: Tata Indicom's net subscriber additions in November 2005 stood at nearly 8.7 lakh surpassing that of all other operators — both GSM and CDMA including leaders Airtel and Reliance IndiaMobile, according to Tata Teleservices.

The company attributed the success to the popularity of its `Non-stop Mobile' service scheme which was introduced in mid-October, and which offered two years free incoming facility to subscribers whether they recharged or not.

Gross during the November were over one million across the 20 circles of operation for the company. "The success of the Non-stop Mobile service has proved that a company with a dream and passion can truly make a difference," said Mr Darryl Green, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Teleservices.
