SBBJ launches e-payment facility in Rajasthan

New Delhi , Nov. 18

STATE Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) has launched a new project `E-mitra' in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan.

The Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Mr Anil Vaish, on Friday launched the facility that envisages electronic bill payment facility through the bank's ATMs.

E-Mitra enables customers to pay their electricity, water and telephone bills (basic and mobiles phones of BSNL) through the bank's select ATMs.

Speaking at the function to launch the scheme, the Managing Director, SBBJ, Mr S.K. Bhattacharyya, said that the facility would go a long way in resolving the problem of the common people of Rajasthan.
