CCT clears 3,000 import boxes

THE number of import boxes lying inside the Chennai Container Terminal yard for clearance has come down to about 3,000 from 6,000 a week ago. The huge pile up was due to torrential rain and flooding of the yard, which affected container operations, according to an official of CCT.
