eScan, according to a company release, has bagged the award for the fourth time, confirming it as a powerful virus protection product. The release further stated that all MicroWorld products used the MWL (MicroWorld Winsock Layer) technology, which blocked information security threats at the Internet Gateway itself.

The enterprise-wide anti-virus software — eScan, scanned the local and network drives for viruses and cleaned them on real-time basis using the MWL technology, the note said.
