Study on Kochi waterfront development

KOCHI: The School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, will conduct a study on the ongoing waterfront developments around Kochi and suggest ways to regulate the activities. The aim of the study is to draw up a set of norms to regulate waterfront development, Mr Babu Jacob, Co-ordinator for the master plan for Kochi development said.

According to him, the Centre for Earth Studies would conduct a study on the restoration of mangroves around the areas in Kochi. The study would focus on ways to improve mangroves and the results of the study are expected soon.
