IPR Corporate - Courts/Legal Issues DuPont bid to protect trademark Our Bureau
In a case filed by DuPont India through its advocates Amarchand Mangaldas, the Delhi High Court in a recent order restrained a large manufacturer and several other wholesale traders in Delhi from using any labels or stickers mentioning either `DuPont' or `Teflon,' a company release said. Subsequent to the High Court order, the Court-appointed commissioners earlier this week raided the premises of five traders in Delhi's Sadar Bazaar and surrounding areas, and sealed significant quantities of illegal labels of `DuPont' and `Teflon,' the release said.
