AAI staff strike: Fire brigade to man Mangalore airport

MANGALORE: The Mangalore airport has made all arrangements for the smooth functioning of operations on Thursday following a nationwide strike call given by the employees of the Airports Authority of India. The 12-hour strike will begin at 7 a.m.

The Airports Director, Mr M.R. Vasudeva, told Business Line here on Wednesday that fire brigade from Mangalore city had been pressed into service at the airport.

The officials of the Air Traffic Control are not taking part in the strike, he added.
