Our Bureau

PUNE: Cable & Wireless, the telecom and networking company offering voice, data and IP solutions, has announced that it had won a £ seven-million ($12.9 million) contract spread over three years from Ventura, one of UK's largest outsourced contact centre management companies.

Under the contract, Cable & Wireless has provided a fully managed offshore contact centre in Pune for Ventura, a subsidiary of Next plc.

It has supplied, installed and configured IT and telecom services for the new contact centre. It also manages delivery of all calls and desktop infrastructure (including PCs and printers), providing 24-hour support from a dedicated helpdesk. Ventura will operate out of this facility.
