According to a press release issued by ADB, the grant is intended to assist the Public Works Department (PWD) of Uttaranchal review and finalise a 10-year master plan for roads in the State and complete financing plans for projects of various durations. The technical assistance grant will also help prepare a plan to boost the Uttaranchal PWD's capacity.
