Meet on energy conservation at Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Energy Research Centre of the Central Power Research Institute is organising a three-day workshop on `Best practices in energy conservation' from Thursday at the Mascot Hotel here.

The Electricity Minister, Mr Aryadan Mohammed, will inaugurate the seminar, which will be attended also by Mr M. K. G. Pillai, Chairman of the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission. Some of the important topics of discussions will be the methodology of energy audit; instrumentation for energy audit; IT solutions for the improvement in plant performance; and oil conservation in diesel generation sets.
