Rubber prices decline further

Our Correspondent

Kottayam , Aug. 8

RUBBER prices declined further on moderate selling from dealers and growers. The favourable change in weather is expected to enhance the production and arrivals soon.

According to observers, the normal tapping process might resume within a few days after the initial preparations. The bearish trend in international markets due to improved supply from Thailand and fears on enhanced domestic arrivals kept the sellers under pressure throughout the session.
