AP to fill up doctor posts in tribal areas

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government would fill up 90 vacant posts of doctors and appoint 72 nurses in tribal areas by the month-end.

Reviewing the deterioration of health conditions in the tribal areas, he directed the officials to acquire 2.72 lakh mosquito nets from the Centre and distribute them to the tribals. On the high incidence of malaria, he asked the officials to depute a joint director to oversee measures to prevent outbreak of the disease.
