Speaking at the inaugural, the Tamil Nadu Agro-Marketing and Agri-Business Commissioner, Mr K. Ganesan, said that if proper packing and marketing techniques are adopted, Indian mangoes will find acceptance in the global market and a minimum of 20,000 tonnes could be exported as table varieties and pulp products. The State Minister for Transport, Mr R. Viswanathan, who presided, said the State Government has allotted Rs 13 crore for establishing a food park in Dindigul district.
