Management Marketing - Promotions & Offers Maruti wins NMG 2005 championship Our Bureau
New Delhi , June 2 MARUTI Udyog Ltd emerged the winner of the 14th National Competition for Business Management Simulations, popularly known as the National Management Games (NMG). The national grand finale took place at the NTPC Power Management Institute, where the short-listed nine teams brainstormed to crack the simulations. The team from Neyveli Lignite finished as the runners-up. Both the winning teams will now represent India in the Asian Region Management Games to be held in Hong Kong this year. NMG is an annual event of the All-India Management Association and preliminary rounds are conducted in Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi with over 100 teams from various corporate houses participating. Reliance Industries Ltd, Tata Motors, Neyveli Lignite, Indian Oil Corporation , NTPC and Maruti Udyog Ltd were among the teams that qualified for the grand finale. The Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC, Mr C. P. Jain, felicitated the winners.
