Congratulating the award winners, Mr Nath also underlined the critical importance of service exports in bridging the country's trade gap and assured that the FIEO would play a key role in nurturing and developing the export promotion council for services that had been recently set up by the Government. On the special economic zone legislation, he expressed confidence that it would further enhance the export-friendly environment of the country.
