New Delhi , March 29

INDIAN Airlines (IA) has bagged the `Mera Brand Award' at the Consumer World Awards 2004.

IA was recently given the award after being selected as the leading brand in the Domestic Airline category.

Mera Brand is based on the consumer's preferences, nationwide consumer survey, online polling and polls conducted through face-to-face interviews across the country.

The survey results have been ratified and tested by Ernest and Young.

The awards have now become the benchmark of brilliance for brands in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and the service sector.

The Airline recently bagged the PATA Gold Award for excellence in Marketing, which will be presented at Macau on April 1.
