`Spicy Butter Milk' launched in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Balan Natural Food (B natural), a Bangalore-based packaged food company, has launched `Spicy Butter Milk' under the brand name `B Natural'.

Available in Tetra Pak, B natural low-fat buttermilk is priced at Rs 8 for a 200 ml pack, according to Mr A. Nandaa Kumar, Director of the company.

Addressing a press conference to launch the product, he said the four-month-old Miruna Yo, a low-fat yoghurt drink was doing well. By December end, the company would have 12 flavours in yoghurt category.

Mr V. Balasubramanian, Chief Executive Officer, said the company would close at Rs 3.69 crore by the end of March. "We are hoping to touch Rs 15 crore," he said. "We will fan out to 100 top cities in the country." The company has set up a Rs 15-crore production facility near Bangalore.
