APSRTC to regularise staff

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) would regularise the services of 5,243 casual employees in two years, the Minister for Transport, Mr S. Santosh Reddy, told the Legislative Assembly on Monday.

Replying to a question in the House during question hour, the Minister said that that the APSRTC was engaging drivers, conductors, mechanics and workers on casual basis. The corporation was regularising the services of these employees in a phased manner.
