`Extend Janashatabdi service'

MANGALORE: The Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has urged the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) to extend the proposed Mangalore-Madgaon Janashatabdi train up to Dadar.

In a letter to KRCL, the KCCI President, Mr A. Srinivasa Rao, said that over two million people from coastal Karnataka, who are residing in Mumbai, visit their native places frequently. Extension of Janashatabdi service up to Dadar will receive a good response, the letter said.
