AP CM's invitation to Iran

HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, invited Iran to invest in oil exploration, gas distribution and infrastructure projects in the State when an Iranian delegation headed by Mr Gholam Ali Hadda Adel, Speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met him here on Friday.

Speaking to newspersons after meeting the delegation, Dr Reddy said that entrepreneurs from the State were also keen to take part in information technology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology projects in Iran. In this context, the Chief Minister recalled the long cultural relationships that existed between India and Iran.
