De-fluoridation project in Nalgonda dist.

HYDERABAD: Premier Explosives Ltd (PEL) has embarked on a de-fluoridation project to provide drinking water to the villagers of Peddakandukuru in Nalgonda district on the occasion of its silver jubilee celebrations on Monday.

The company had also launched a new product, "Ultra-safe Green Detonator" to mark the occasion, according to the company's Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Mr A.N. Gupta.

Mr Gupta told Business Line that the cost of de-fluoridation project plant was being worked out and it would be executed over the next two months.

Set up in 1980 with an equity of Rs 4.65 lakh and a term loan of Rs 13 lakh, PEL currently has a share capital of Rs 8 crore and a market cap of Rs 100 crore.
