Samsung CEO for S-W Asia

NEW DELHI: Samsung India Electronics Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr S.H. Oh as the new President and CEO of Samsung (South-West Asia).

He takes charge from Mr K.S. Kim. In addition to India, Mr Oh would be in charge of all SAARC countries, except Pakistan.

Mr Oh has been with Samsung Electronics for more than 28 years and has served in various positions and overseen different areas of the company's development. Prior to assuming charge of the Samsung South-West headquarters, Mr Oh was President Director of Samsung Indonesia. He has worked with Samsung subsidiaries in many countries, including Japan, as well as headed a business division for Samsung Electronics.

Mr Ravinder Zutshi, Director Sales, will also head telecom sales, in addition to his current responsibility as head of sales for consumer electronics and home appliances.
