CII seminar on anti-dumping in Kochi

KOCHI: With the aim of promoting a thorough understanding of the nuances of anti-dumping, CII-Kerala in association with the Commerce Ministry is organising a seminar on `Understanding Anti-dumping' at Hotel Renaissance on February 7.

The seminar will focus on promoting awareness on the issue of anti-dumping, highlight the remedial measures available in the wake of alleged dumping and injury caused by unfair practices and the application of anti-dumping to various commodity exports with special reference to Kerala.

Mr Christy L. Fernandez, Additional Secretary (Commerce Ministry), will inaugurate the seminar. Mr John Mathai, Principal Secretary, State Industries Department, will preside. The inaugural session will also be addressed by Mr Mohan Kumar, Chairman, MPEDA.
