MANGALORE: The Executive Director of Corporation Bank, Mr P.K. Gupta, released `Karyashala Samagri', a book compiled and published by the bank to commemorate 40th meeting of the official language committee on South Based Public Sector Banks (SBPSB), in Mangalore recently.

A press release by the bank said here on Tuesday that Committee of SBPSB is a forum constituted by 10 south-based banks to deliberate upon the constraints faced in the implementation of official language, especially in the southern sector.

Mr Gupta said that effective strategies should be charted out to reach the targets in the implementation of official language.

Mr K. Achutha Pai, General Manager of Corporation Bank and Chairman of official language committee on SBPSB, welcomed the gathering.
