UCO Bank hikes deposit rates

UCO Bank has raised the interest rates on term deposits by 25 to 50 basis points for most maturity periods, according to a press release.

While the interest rate on term deposits with maturities of seven to 14 days remains unchanged at 4 per cent, that on the maturity period of 15 to 29 days has been increased to 4.25 per cent from 4 four per cent.

The rate has been increased to 4.75 per cent (4.5 per cent) for the period 46 to 90 days, 5 per cent (4.75 per cent) for 91 to 170 days, 5.25 per cent (5 per cent) for 180 to 364 days, 5.5 per cent (5.25 per cent) for one to three years, 5.75 per cent (5.5 per cent) for three to five years and 6 per cent (5.5 per cent) for above five years.
