Kalzoom kit for academic bodies

THE biggest challenge the IT and BPO industry faces today is finding the right manpower in terms of quality and quantity to meet the growing demands.

The National Association of Software and Services Companies estimates the industry to touch $50 billion million by 2008. To cater to the industry demands, Pune-based Kalzoom Technologies, a knowledge management company, has launched `Hive-Kit' for academic institutions.

According to Ms Uma Ganesh, Chief Executive Officer, Kalzoom Technologies, Hive is a Web-based learning and research solution that incorporates university portal, collaboration and groupware tools and advanced research and learning tools in addition to an e-learning engine. . Ms Uma said an e-learning course `Disha' would be a part of the Hive starter kit.
