Mumbai , Aug. 18 TATA Consultancy Services will most likely list on the stock exchanges on August 25, said Mr S. Ramadorai, CEO, on the sidelines of a press conference here on Wednesday. The company's IPO opened on July 29 and closed on August 5. The issue, which was through a book-building process, was made at a price of Rs 850 for one share of Re 1. The company will have raised more than Rs 5,420 crore through the issue. Since the shares would be issued through the demat route only and as the bank accounts of applicants had been asked for, the shares would actually go into the demat accounts and the money into their bank accounts even before they received intimation, said a senior company official.
